PRE TRADESMAN/ JOURNEYMAN TEST
Classes now required by TSBPE before taking the exam:
Apprentice requirements for Tradesman license:
(1) plumbing CPE six hour class;
(1) ten hour OSHA certification class
8 hour code training class.

Apprentice requirements for Journeyman license:
(2) plumbing CPE six hour classes
(1) ten hour OSHA certification class
26 hour code training class (includes the 8 hour code training for the tradesman license)

City council adopted a new code with attached ammendments effective MARCH 1, 2012 for the Plumbing & HVAC Industry:

2012 International Plumbing Code & 2012 International Fuel & Gas Code books available for purchase from San Antonio,
Copy of  City of San Antonio AMMENDMENTS are available upon request and/or can be found under Chapter 10 Building Code document with the City of San Antonio Developmental Services website.
